Arsenal will have to sell up to six players to be able to rise fund to pay the remaining money left to pay for Nicolas Pepe.
According to Bleacher reports, The Gunners could have to sell not less than six star players to fund the remaining money left to pay Nicolas Pepe. Arsenal signed a Club record £72 Million deal in the summer with Lille for Ivorian winger Nicolas Pepe.
The deal came as a surprise when the Ivorian winger, Nicolas Pepe signed a five years contract at the Emirate following the suggestions that Arsenal had a tight budget to do business with. But later on a report emerged that the transfer would be paid in five instalments.
And now the club are looking to sell up to sex star players in the next transfer window to be able to rise fund to pay the money owed to Lille. Skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and strike partner Alexandre Lacazette have both been linked with a move away from London recently. With Mesut Ozil also named as a potential way of recouping money.
The transfer market is due to be affected heavily by the covid-19 viruses following a loss of ticket sales and television revenue with the season on hold.
Arsenal head of football Raul Sanllehi has already warned staff that transfers are not a priority for the club this summer_it is understood the Spaniard explicitly played down the prospect of any big money signings in a weekly video call with chief executive Vinai Venkatesham and all non playing employees.
