President Muhammadu Buhari will address the Nation as the first phase of the gradual easing of the covid-19 inter-state lockdown end, in a live broadcast on Monday 18th-May-2020.

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday, 18th-May-2020 address the Nationals in a live broadcast following the end of the first phase of the gradual easing of the COVID-19 lockdown.

This was confirmed and disclosed by the National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19, Aliyu Sani during his interview with channels Television’s Sunday Politics on Sunday 17th-May-2020.

According to Aliyu, President Muhammadu Buhari is to decide on whether or not, the country should go ahead with the second phase of the easing of the covid-19 inter-state lockdown.

He Further said that the PTF has been seriously Reviewing and Monitoring quite closely, stressing that there are some concerns in terms of the implementation and that recommendations have been made to the President and everyone will have to wait for his decision on Monday.
