Covid-19 patient puts to bed in Lagos State, this was confirmed by the state Ministry of Health on Saturday, 16th-may-2020.
Following the recent report in Lagos State today, Saturday 16th-may-2020 the state Ministry of Health has announced that a Covid-19 patient delivered a bouncing baby boy by the front-line medical staff at Gbagada isolation Centre, Lagos state.
The announcement was made known by the Lagos State Ministry of Health via Twitter on Saturday, revealed that the mother and the newly born baby are in a very good health.
According to the post the pregnant woman was diagnosed with coronavirus and she was delivered of a baby boy weighing 2.9kg.
The tweet reads below;
A pregnant woman diagnosed with COVID-19 was delivered of a bouncing baby boy weighing 2.9kg by our front-line health Workers at Gbagada Isolation Centre today. Both Mother and Baby are doing well.
Revealing the good news further, the ministry of health added that another successful delivery of a Baby Boy by the Front-line staffs at LUTH the delivery was said to involved a Covid-19 patient via a Caesarian operation.
The tweet added;
Also, front-line Health workers at LUTH on Thursday took delivery of a Baby Boy involving a Coronavirus patient through Caesarian operation for the third time running. We celebrate our committed front-line staff for this achievement.
Recall, Informationnaija recently reported that, the President Muhammadu Buhari has received the covid-19 vaccine developed in Madagascar this was made known by the Personal Assistant to the President Bashir Ahmed via a Twitter post.
