The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mohammedu Buhari has received the covid-19 vaccine from Madagascar.

President Muhammedu Buhari won’t be addressing the nation today as the first phase of the gradual easing of the covid-19 inter-state lockdown comes to an end.

According to the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Adesina, on Monday, 18th-May-2020 made this known via his verified social media handle, that Buhari won’t be addressing Nigerians on the next decision of the lockdown put in place to fight the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

Adesina in his tweet further added that, the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Boss Mustapha, will instead give more details on the lastest development in the fight against the virus.

No presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today. None was planned. Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps.
