Brentford signs a new deal with Manchester United defender, Ben Hockenhull as he leaves Old Trafford for the new club on Thursday, 23rd-July-2020.

The Premier League giant, Manchester United has on Thursday, 23rd-July-2020 sold out its defender, Ben Hockenhull to a new club, Brentford before the 2020 summer transfer window will take place around 27th-July-2020 and 5th-October-2020.

The former United defender, Ben Hockenhull, 18 years, stroke a two year contract with his new club as he left Manchester United to joined Brentford.

The news was confirmed by Manchester United as they made the announcement in a post via the club’s official website, they wrote.

Manchester United Academy defender Ben Hockenhull has completed a move to Championship club Brentford.

Following Ben Hockenhull departure from the Red Devils, Manchester United in an official statement released via the club’s official website wish Ben Hockenhull all the best in his new club, the statement reads below;

The young centre-back signed a third-year scholarship registration agreement with United after the Academy season was curtailed due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Everybody at Manchester United would like to wish Ben well for the future following his departure.

Speaking on Ben Hockenhull moves from Red Devils to the championship club, Brentford head coach, Neil MacFarlane in a statement said;

First and foremost, Ben is coming from a top football club. He’s somebody t 000 hat has a fantastic presence on the pitch.

As a centre-back, size is important in English football, but he has got much more to his game than that.

He is fantastic on the ball and in possession, and with us being a possession-based team, that’ll stand him in good stead. We think there is lots more development in Ben and he’ll be a great addition to the squad.
