Police arrests 20 Face masks defaulters in Asaba, Delta state.. On Wednesday, 6th-may-2020 Delta State Police Command arrested over 20 people for breaching the covid-19 face masks rules.

The Asaba, Delta state Police command arrested and detained over twenty [20] people for not wearing face mask in public area after the federal government eased the lockdown and imposed new rules on facemask must be wore properly in public places.

Recall the state governor announced that he will arrest and quarantine anyone caught not wearing face mask or improper wearing of face maskin public places.

Following the recent report in Asaba the capital of Delta state, on Wednesday 6th-may-2020, the Okpanam Police division officers arrested more than 20 persons who failed to wear face mask around Midwifery Market at Okpanam road.

The reports reaching us had it that the same Police officers arrested one shop owner who was caught not wearing face mask while attending to customers. And some Keke napep riders and passengers for not using face mask.

The Delta state Police command spokesman, speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria NAN said that, Not all those who were apprehended failed to wore the facemask, most of them wore the facemask on their chins, some only covered their mouth with their nose open and the others had none at all.
