Following the recent update on Coronavirus, COVID-19 cases Nigeria confirms 313 new infections, which has total the number confirmed in the country to 7,839 cases and 2,263 has been discharged and fully recovered, with a total of 226 deaths.
The 313 confirmed cases was made known by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via their official social media accounts as at 11: 10 PM on Sunday, 24th-May-2020.
The report had it that, the confirmed cases were discovered in 16 states in the country including the Federal Capital Territory, F.C.T. which add up to the total of 313 new infections discovered.
As reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via their official twitter account on Sunday night wrote;

Adding the figures together makes it 313 new cases confirmed on Sunday, 24th-May-2020 since the pandemic outbreak in Nigeria the total cases confirmed rised to 7,839 which 2,263 has been fully recovered and discharged and 226 deaths recorded.

Out 36 states in Nigeria only two states are yet to record any case of the virus, the states are Kogi state and Cross Rivers state.
The first case confirmed in Nigeria was in Lagos state and up to date Lagos remains the highest confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country, adding the new cases confirmed Lagos has total of 3,505 confirmed cases.
In recents update, Nigeria confirmed 284 new infections in the country.
